We recently camped at what was one of the tightest campgrounds we’ve ever been in with our 5th wheel. It’s not that the campground was small, so much as there were TONS of trees and obstacles that our 42ft trailer just didn’t play nice with. Honestly, most New England campgrounds are similar to this one so we kind of expected it.

Then the ranger helped us navigate into the spot, he suggested we just pull into the site directly in front of us, then back straight into our site. Seemed simple enough until they gave our (runway site) to an awesome family from Vancouver. If you are ever in this situation, just take your time. Drive inch by inch if you have too. Ask for help if needed. Don’t let ANYONE pressure you into doing something you aren’t comfortable with. It’s your RV, YOUR INVESTMENT, and your consequence to deal with.
