One of the common lessons / games we like to play with the girls is to give them a list of things to find and photograph.  A Scavenger Hunt but with pictures… build a story, seek out objects, whatever.  Today while I edited photos inside the RV we sent the girls out to work on this project.  Jen came up with today’s list before she went grocery shopping, so the girls would keep busy for an hour or so with this.
Shayla has been doing such an amazing job learning her words that the list was actually easy enough for her to read by herself.  (Don’t ask.. she’s on a mission)

One of the first ones that the girls found was a Heart Shaped Rock.  (I think they tipped each other off as to where one was because they photographed the same one)  Leighton’s picture is on the Left and Shayla’s is on the Right
Next challenge was the word “Surveyor”  Leighton’s picture is on the Left and Shayla’s is on the Right

Teamwork at play as Leighton pointed out the Flag to Shayla.  Leighton’s picture is on the Left and Shayla’s is on the Right

They are off to the woods to try and photograph a deer.
 These couple are my photos.
Both girls did a great job and REALLY enjoy these scavenger hunts.   Both cameras we bought them last year are regular entry level consumer Nikon cameras that are waterproof and shockproof.  And perfect for kids.  I would recommend these or similar over ANY sort of kid camera.    The cameras they have are Nikon Coolpix S31  They were like $100
