Its starting to hurt

So they kicked up the pitocin quite a bit and Jens starting to feel the pain. We just had the epidural question rise and they said it happens relatively fast. Like 5 minutes after it is ordered. So that’s great news.

Oh Jen, this is so exciting and still all too familiar. I feel like I’m back with ya 8 months and one week ago…I remember moments leading up to these final moments and wondering what would be the first thing I would say to my lil guy, what he would look like, would he recognize me & my voice, or Dave??? What would that first cry sound like? Take in these last few minutes/hours…its just such a great ride. Congrats, you are about to do something really amazing like nothing else, I know that sounds obvious, but its really so surreal and can pass so quickly, I just had to say it…Proud of ya girl!!!

Have been checking in on u guys on your website. Pete says you have way too much time on your hands;) Stinks it is taking so long…both my inductions were crazy fast. Gel at 9am water broke at 10am epidural at noon…connor was 1 hour of pushing…Owen was 6 minutes. Connor was born at 5:21pm and Owen at 5:22pm..she is probably calling me a bitch when you tell her that;) GOOD LUCK and happy pushing…pushing is the hardest so I hope she comes out fast. (After 5 minutes I said I couldn’t do it any more and Pete was like “Come on Mel, I see the baby’s whole head;) Easy for him to say;)

Hang in there Jen, I keep checking back to see updates. I am having flashbacks to Sophia’s birth, it was only 6 1/2 weeks ago – it so flies by. All I can say is breath, try to relax and just think it will all be over soon enough and you will have that little on in your arms!! The fun is just about to begin 🙂

I’m going to keep checking back waiting for her arrival!

Oh my goodness…it’s starting! I remember when they moved me to labor and delivery the first thing I said was “when can I get an epidural”. I got it within 10 minutes, it was heaven.

You guys will have your little baby girl soon…then it will be 2 weeks later and she will be pooping in your hand (Hannah just did this to me) – ha, ha!

    I’m thinking of you guys!
